Cheater chipotle bowls! This is one of my favorite go to lunch preps, made with ground turkey, and my home made taco seasoning. I top with a version of corn salsa, salsa verde, cheese and sour cream. Super easy and is a great grab from the freezer lunch. Happy eating! ‪#‎FoodFairy‬

Did someone say teriyaki?? How about these super yummy teriyaki pork chops. Can be made stove top or in the crockpot. Tonight is stovetop. Serve with rice and a vegetable. I also don't add the chicken broth unless cooking in the crockpot. Happy eating! ‪#‎FoodFairy‬

Cranberry chicken is a little like thanksgiving without all the kitchen time. This works well with stuffing (the only time I'll buy stove top stuffing) and mashed potatoes. I also do this with thighs instead of breasts, they are more tender. Happy eating! ‪#‎FoodFairy‬

Tonight's dinner is actually a first for me, a friend of mine posted this one pot tortellini soup about a week ago and I was looking for something a bit different to cook for dinner. I have to say this was super easy. I did tweak it a hair and added mushrooms and spicy Italian sausage. It turned out great! Happy eating! ‪#‎FoodFairy‬

Bacon egg and cheese sandwiches for breakfast!! I do slice my bacon in half, makes for easier sandwich building. I toast the bread in a buttered pan to melt the cheese, (no toaster in my house) McDonald's has nothing on my kitchen! Happy eating! ‪#‎FoodFairy‬

Pretty easy and delicious soup, also good for a weeks worth of lunch. This batch is local beef, I have also made this with ground deer or turkey. A hand full of your favorite steak seasoning is a great addition. Don't add the cheese, milk and flour till 1/2 hour before serving. Happy eating!‪#‎FoodFairy‬

Simple storage... I have this AMAZING hutch in my kitchen that belonged to Matt's great grandfather and sits in the same place it was more than 59 years ago (true story, there's a photo of great grand dad in my kitchen in front of said hutch) So the hutch has a nice built in bread box... Makes an excellent place for the first aid and meds to go. Out of site but accessible. I do keep band aids and antiseptic ointment in a little tub for easy grab and treat access. My spices live on the top shelf in a lazy susan for easy, organized access. Happy organizing! ‪#‎FoodFairy‬

Monday yum... Creamy ranch chops and taters... Super easy, fall apart chops and tender potatoes. Happy eating! ‪#‎FoodFairy‬

Allergy season is coming.  I try not to pop pills if I can help it.  My saving grace this winter has been an amazing essential oil blend from Melaleuca called Vapor.  Combined to help soothe and support respiratory comfort, PURE Vapor is a rich blend of eucalyptus, peppermint, cypress, may chang, myrtle, bay, and elemi.

The stuff's GOLD, opens my airway and boosts my mood a bit too.  a drop on my palm, rub them together and just breath!  Its also great in a diffuser, and when Matt had his terrible chest cold, I mixed a few drops with vitamin E oil and applied it just like you do Vicks VapoRub...

Organizing tip- a little bag with pockets is great for crafty stuff, in this case it would be markers and coloring pages... the bag is an older 31 style, and the model is my super cute 11 year old.

Spring is here which for me means sandals. A trick I learned a long time ago was to apply antiperspirant to my feet wherever the shoe may rub. It works! So break out those sandals, ladies!!! ‪#‎FoodFairy‬

This mornings breakfast brought to you by me being in a rush... I hate plain yogurt, not gonna lie . I think it's gross. But yogurt is HELLA good for you and so is fruit and honey. So I guy whatever Greek vanilla yogurt is on sale, grab a bag of frozen berries (this week it's blueberry) and because I'm THAT PERSON who keeps honey at work, I drizzle honey on my mess before I eat.
Fun facts... Yogurt is FULL of probiotics which are great do your belly. It also is a good source of protein and calcium.
Blueberries are full of antioxidants l, vitamins, and yummy goodness, and frozen, add a great sweet crunch yo my yogurt. Honey is basically liquid gold. It's a great source of antioxidants, vitamin c, calcium and iron and is just so damn delish. So basically this is a calcium and antioxidant rich breakfast that helps give be me a boost in the morning.
